Explanation
The discussion was being recorded without video.
Someone would later listen to the recording to write the minutes. That person did not know the four people's voices and could not identify the speakers from the audio alone.
By saying their names before speaking, each person's name and words were recorded together, one after the other. This let the listener tell who had said what.
